The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Practice Executive (Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant) to join our Legal Operations team in Melbourne on a full time, permanent basis. Some key areas of responsibility will include (not limited to): Practice and client management including general administration and data entry Business Development/Marketing including event management Monthly billing/invoicing requirements Monitoring and managing inboxes for Partners Diary and travel management Our Practice Executives play a pivotal role within the firm, ensuring that support services to legal staff are delivered appropriately and within a timely manner. You will work closely with our dedicated hub of Team Assistants to complete any administrative based tasks. High degree of initiative, pro-activity and problem solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices. Excellent relationship building and organisational skills. Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence and presentations. Ability to pick up new systems with ease, with intermediate to advanced level technical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
