The Carmichael mine provides direct employment in permanent roles for more than 1,200 Queenslanders and produces in the order of 10 million tonnes per annum of high-quality coal for the export market.About The RoleThe Contractor Management Specialist is the go-to person for keeping contractor management systems on track, ensuring everything aligns with the Contractor Management Plan and legislation. You’ll be advising the team, leading key meetings, and collaborating to create essential documents while making sure contractors meet safety and performance standards. Plus, you'll be all about streamlining processes to boost efficiency and make everything run smoothly on-site!The position will be based on-site with a Monday to Friday (5/2) roster.ResponsibilitiesGovernance of the contractor management systems in accordance with the Contractor Management Plan PLN-013 (CMP), CMSHA, and relevant legislation.Advise internal stakeholders on sourcing, engagement, and performance management of contract partners.Facilitate key meetings, such as pre-mobilisation, safety performance, and closeout.Develop and maintain work scopes, risk assessments, and other contractor management documentation in conjunction with stakeholders.Monitor contract partners’ compliance with the CCM Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) through field verifications.Administration of document control, KPI reviews, contract renewals, and disputes.Identify and execute process improvements and procedural reviews to drive cost and productivity gains for the mine.Requirements Of The RoleThe successful applicant will align with our values of courage, trust, and commitment along with being dedicated to high standards.
