!Build your administrative skills in a supportive environment!Come for the life experience, stay for the lifestyleNWRH now has an exciting opportunity for a part-timeSupport Services Officerto join our team in Townsville in a temporary capacity until the end of the year (3 days a week).Reporting to the General Manager Carer Gateway and Navigation Services, your main responsibility will be tosupport the intake, assessment and eligibility processes by working closely with on-ground case managers and internal team, ensuring efficient service delivery through the Department of Social Services (DSS) platform and administrative coordination.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate the intake and eligibility assessment process by coordinating with on-ground case managers to collect and verify client information.Support case managers in ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the DSS platform, maintaining compliance with service guidelines.Act as the central point of communication between the case management team and administrative support, ensuring consistent workflows.Collaborate with team leaders and clinicians to manage prioritization, waitlists, and service allocations based on eligibility criteria.Assist case managers by preparing and maintaining documentation, including service agreements, assessments, and referral updates.Administrative Support:Manage correspondence with case managers, including updates on client progress, referral status, and discharge planning.Provide administrative support for case managers, such as preparing client files, uploading required documents, and ensuring data accuracy.Assist in resource coordination, including community outreach materials and scheduling support for on-ground activities.Professional Conduct:Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaboration in processes.Adhere to organizational policies and professional standards, including confidentiality and compliance with relevant legislation.Be flexible and adaptable to changing team needs, supporting case managers and leadership as required.About YouIf you enjoy working with data, analysing information, and managing diverse cases, this could be a great opportunity for you to expand your skills and experience.You will need to be an effective communicator, with strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
