This role is integral to our mission of delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable transport solutions.What you will be accountable for:Fleet & System Management: Utilise and manage MEX, Command/Supply Chain, Seeing Eye Cameras, MTData, and other systems to oversee workshop and fleet management, ensuring seamless tracking and maintenance.Logistics & Route Planning: Assist with scheduling, route optimisation, and driver allocations, ensuring all job allocations and deliveries are timely, safe, and cost-effective.Customer Service & Communication: Act as a liaison between customers, depot staff, drivers, and management, responding to calls and emails, addressing feedback, and ensuring a high standard of service.Operational Support: Assist with day-to-day logistics operations including planning of pickups and deliveries across the Perth metro and WA regional areas, handling incoming job bookings, and maintaining driver and customer rapport.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all drivers meet BGC standards, perform regular license and compliance checks, and maintain a record of service schedules and maintenance tasks.Continuous Improvement: Monitor service quality, manage feedback, and support the Operations Manager with reporting and process improvement.What will you need:Experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, or a related fieldStrong technical proficiency with fleet and scheduling systems (MEX, MTData, or similar)Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholdersProblem-solving abilities with an eye for streamlining processes and improving efficiencyA commitment to safety, sustainability, and exceptional customer serviceWhat we Offer:Attractive salary and development pathwaysAccess BGC’s new referral programExtensive employee benefits: corporate discounts and wellbeing initiativesPermanent long term position = Based in PERTHSalary sacrifice & novated lease options.Approachable Management & Inclusive team culture.Recognition for outstanding work.We are a close-knit team who recognise the value each of us brings.About the Company:At BGC Transport we play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of BGC, our large and fully serviced fleet of haulage vehicles operates around the clock, transporting millions of tonnes of cargo throughout Western Australia every year.The bulk of our transport fleet is based at Hazelmere providing easy access into and out of the Perth metropolitan area, as well as connection to major regional and mining areas.At BGC Transport, we pride ourselves on our commitment to occupational safety.
