Your responsibilities will include: As an AME B1.3 MAML holder.
You will ensure aircraft are airworthy in accordance with prescribed aviation standards.
You will be responsible for directly supporting Maintenance Managers in the execution of maintenance and aviation related duties.
You will perform holistic tactical level task co-ordination, personnel management, and supervision for a group of maintenance tasks or GAT and/or personnel; and carry out error capture (Independent Inspector) inspections.
About you: To be successful it is essential you demonstrate the following: • Hold a DASA issued B1.3 MAML without E62 Supervision exclusion • Undergone a platform specific safety familiarisation course (or equivalent) • Competence assessment on the task being authorised • System or component specific courses for component level maintenance • An understanding of Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief (PBED) principles • Excellent understanding of WH&S requirements • Excellent experience as an Independent Inspector in a Defence Aviation environment.
• Excellent understanding of the effects of Human Factors in Maintenance.
• Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in Aeroskills – Avionics, from a recognised institution Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
