This is a rewarding community-based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support. We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Support Worker (up to 68 hours per fortnight) to provide support to our customers who are located on the northside of Brisbane. The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks. Hours of work for a Support Worker are typically performed Monday to Friday between 7am to 7pm. For your set fortnightly roster, we invite you to share your availability and hours you would prefer to work. There may also be the opportunity to gain additional hours depending on your availability and our operational requirements. About you A background and qualification in community services is advantageous, but just as important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values.
