Job Description
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes, and service levels across the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design, and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.
* Utilize best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably with the ITIL framework, to provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management, and continuity planning.
* Ensure end-to-end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.
Technical Expertise:
* Develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident/problem/change/release/configuration.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of appropriate solutions and improvements in technology domains such as network firewalls, network security, network management, load balancing, and clustering.
Requirements:
* Ability to demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in providing technical direction, standardization, professional advice, and support of enterprise infrastructure.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations.
