* Develop HR procedures and ensure Taronga’s Awards are maintained and acted upon, including liaison with relevant NSW government agencies, unions, and delegations, and the coordination of the Joint Consultation Committees.
* Conduct investigations into grievances, misconduct, and unsatisfactory performance.
* Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate stakeholders both internal and external, in particular all Unions party to Taronga’s award and relevant NSW government agencies.
* Assist the Human Resource team to develop training programs and materials to address the learning needs of the organisation and its people.
* Provide support to the WHS team regarding Workers Compensation and non-work-related injuries as they impact employee relations issues.
* Develop tools to support the implementation of HR initiatives. Proactively source people data, drawing insights that impact business outcomes and mitigate risks to help inform people strategies.
* General HR duties including drafting employment contracts, letters and reports, updating organisational charts and position descriptions, and maintaining employee files.
