Key Skills: Previous experience as an Industrial Engineer. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office).Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Teamwork skills.Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Min 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering. Responsibilities: Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.Designing production layouts.Evaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards.Create and maintain required documentation including flow charts, capacity and utilisation studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.Organise and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilising lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance.Conduct cost analysis and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.Cooperate with other engineers, contractors and suppliers.Manage and support the implementation of new equipment and technology to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
