This position focuses on identifying workforce development opportunities, addressing employment needs within the community, and ensuring the delivery of effective services to both job seekers and employers.The CRC will lead Workways’ outreach efforts, represent the organisation at community events, and collaborate with internal teams to develop initiatives that align with labour market trends and regional priorities. They will work closely with local areas to identify specific labour market needs and implement activities that create clear pathways to employment.Being a Community Relationships Coordinator involves:Proven ability to professionally engage and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including education and disability service providers.Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing community events, outreach programs, or engagement activities within set timeframes and budgets.Experience working with participants or clients experiencing disadvantage and an understanding of working with people with complex social and employment barriers.Demonstrated experience in career planning and guidance resulting in placements in employment and/or education and training.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to liaise and build relationships with a broad range of people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds including families and employers.Knowledge of employment trends, labour market insights, and the challenges faced by job seekers and employers in the local community.Proven experience in collecting, collating, and analysing data to understand program performance.Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate small groups.Intermediate IT skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office365 programs.Demonstrated creativity and innovation in designing and developing engaging program resources and materials through systems such as Canva and Sharepoint that meet diverse needs and enhance participant experience.Ability to work as a team member within the ethos and values of Workways Australia.Reporting to the National Manager of Employment and liaising with the Regional Manager on regional and operational strategies (as required).About you:Experience working with participants or clients experiencing disadvantage and an understanding of working with people with complex social and employment barriers.Experience working with employers, community organisations, and registered training organisations to establish/manage activities.Enthusiasm, commitment, flexibility, and a positive attitude in working with Host Organisations/Participants to achieve employment/Activity outcomes.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with people/Participants from a range of backgrounds including Indigenous, youth, mature aged, etc.Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely to suit the purpose e.g., case notes, reports, etc.Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate small groups.A proven track record of achieving performance targets and time management skills to meet deadlines.Experience and proven ability working in a contractually compliant (or similar) environment.Sound Information Technology and administration skills.About Us:Workways Australia - we get people connected.
