The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our team. The Bid Manager will be responsible for preparing and compiling tenders for a diverse range of projects valued between $1M and $100M. This role involves forming and achieving bid strategies, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring the submission of exceptional quality bids that meet client requirements.
What We're Looking For:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in bid coordination.
2. Graphic design experience.
3. Commercial construction industry experience and ability to understand and decipher construction language.
4. Participation in Early Contract Involvement contracts and sound knowledge of tender protocols.
5. Ability to manage multiple tenders concurrently, with exceptional time management skills to plan and meet competing fixed deadlines.
6. Effective communication, including excellent written and document presentation skills.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
9. Skills in mentoring junior staff.
10. Ability to complete LIPD and social procurement schedules.
11. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and InDesign.
