Join our dynamic team at the Office of Child Safety as a Child Safety Research Administration Officer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of child safety across all research projects involving children and young people. Key Responsibilities coordinating the Child Safety Annual Attestation process: Coordinate and promote the attestation process, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of child safety. develop and deliver communication: Assist in creating and disseminating child safety communications in line with our action plan. data management and reporting: Track, report, and maintain accurate attestation data, and follow up on outstanding submissions. support Chief Investigators: Provide timely responses to queries from Chief Investigators and reinforce the importance of child safety. promote a child safe culture: Advocate for child safety within the university’s research community. adhere to policies and regulations: Ensure compliance with university policies and applicable regulations. perform ad-hoc tasks: Undertake additional tasks as requested by your line manager. About you experience in education or research administration: Proven ability to manage diverse groups of stakeholders. strong communication skills: Ability to write clear, concise and tailored communications. project management expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects. data Proficiency: Strong skills in tracking and analysing data using Excel; experience with Power BI is highly desirable. commitment to child safety: Active dedication to promoting and supporting child safety initiatives.
