In this role, you'll:
* Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools
* Undertake road maintenance activities which may include, but not limited to, widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes and heavy patching works.
* Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs where required.
About you
You are a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.
You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following tickets/ Licence's
* White Card
* Current driver’s licence
Traffic Control tickets and Truck Licence (Medium Rigid) up to (Heavy Rigid) are preferred but not essential.
You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1-3 level or related civil construction labouring experience. Please refer to the position description below for more detail.

You will live within a 50 km radius of the Albury works depot and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, travel across the district and work away from home when needed.
