About the role
This is an Expression of Interest for a Logistics Manager.
UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles. As a result, we have an Expression of Interest for Logistics Manager role.
· You will oversee all logistical operations, ensuring that materials, equipment, and personnel are efficiently coordinated to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
· Develop and implement logistics strategies to support the construction of the modular accommodation village.
· Coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials and equipment to site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
· Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and service levels.
· Oversee inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
· Collaborate with project managers and site teams to streamline operations and address logistical challenges.
· Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
About You
· Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management
· Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects and assignments.
· Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology.
· Preferred experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.
· Australian driver’s license.
