About the team
The Creative Tools Product team focuses on understanding our users, identifying opportunity areas, prioritizing the problems we identify to solve, and rapidly creating innovative user experience solutions. The team is specifically responsible for the creation path, creation triggers, creation materials (everything form sound to effects), and the video interface of TikTok. We are looking for an experienced product manager to continually push the innovation bar and make TikTok the best place to get inspired and express creativity. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following internship cycles below: -Sydney1. Off cycle / Credit bearing - Starting 30 October 2024 We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit in either internship period. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date). 1. Understand Internationalization short video social business goals and study how to create new private messages and interactive scenes for users through social gameplay;2. Discuss and clarify the product direction, goal and path around the business scenario demand, combining the social behavior and psychological characteristics of different types of users;3. Lead the discussion and promote the completion of the corresponding social function/gameplay scheme design, complete the alignment of product/planning/operation/design/R & D teams, improve collaborative efficiency, promote production and launch, and guide iteration based on Data Drive;4. Design the internal entrance of the App and various paths to reach users, cooperate with colleagues in marketing and promotion, and drive the continuous growth of product DAU; guide product iteration around business indicators, so that the product can contribute more value to social business.
Minimum QualificationsUndergraduate, or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/master in any field.Preference - Political science, International relations, Public Policy, Public Administration, Advertising, Communications and Media, Marketing/Marketing Management, Public Relations and Applied Communication; or a closely related field. (NOT mandatory)Good verbal and written English communication skills Preferred Qualifications1. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills;2. Understanding of the impact ad policy decisions have on advertisers and users;3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and rapid growth environment;4. Passionate about Internet entertainment/media space or mobile web video/content.
