As a key operational and administrative role, demonstrating leadership, initiative and living the GLT values will be a key driver of success. Our fleet keeps us on the move and allows us to deliver incredible travel experiences to over 100K customers annually. This role ensures that our entire fleet hits the road with industry best practice adherence to all safety and compliance regulations. Given the nature of our industry and business, we operate tours across a 7 day week and as such your hours will be varied and include some weekend work. Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day tour operations, ensuring efficiency and high service standards for all tours departing Darwin. Facilitate and guide tours every fortnight. Coordinate tour schedules, staff rosters, logistics, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Support recruitment, training, and supervision of tour guides. Manage vehicle maintenance, operational supplies, and ensure fleet presentation standards are met. Support the maintenance and operation of tour campsites, ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort. Build relationships with suppliers and industry stakeholders. Step in to support tours or operations tasks as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Experience in the tourism industry. Medium Rigid Drivers Licence (or willingness to obtain), and Commercial Passenger Vehicle Licence (H endorsement). Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with software programs (Microsoft Office or G Suite). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Current First Aid Certificate.
