One of our leading Healthcare clients are looking for experienced Anaesthetic Registered Nurses to join their Perioperative Team in full-time positions, with part-time options available for the right candidates. This position requires availability for on-call duties.
About Us Our facility is a premier tertiary healthcare provider known for excellence in acute surgical and maternity services, consistently delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
Our surgical unit includes 11 operating theatres and one endoscopy suite, conducting comprehensive elective procedures six days a week, with 24-hour on-call coverage. We manage around 24,000 surgical cases and 2,000 births annually, covering a diverse range of specialties, including cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, neurosurgery, gynaecology, urology, reconstructive plastic surgery, general surgery, ENT, and vascular surgery.

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse – Anaesthetic, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing peri-operative nursing care in compliance with regulations
* Delivering evidence-based nursing practices
* Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team
* Ensuring the safety of patients and staff
* Supervising and mentoring nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses and AINs (for RNs)
* Assessing nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Documenting patient information accurately and promptly using appropriate terminology
Essential Criteria:
* Valid registration with AHPRA
* Two years of post-graduate RN experience in an acute perioperative setting
* A current NSW Working with Children check
* Willingness to participate in the on-call roster
* A strong commitment to delivering quality patient care
