We are looking for a self-motivated individual to fill a full-time permanent position as a High Value Crop Account Manager at our Shepparton Dealership. Create long standing relationships with customers and help them grow and succeed and be rewarded along the journey.
The Role You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including, but not limited to:
Representing the Company for the sale of products and services to customers in a defined sales area. Maintaining current product knowledge on features, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership. Monitoring competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly. Participating in trade shows, drive green events and on farm demonstrations and assist with the preparation and execution of customer events. Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods. Establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation's products and services. Making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers. Co-ordinating sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, parts and service departments. To be successful you will need: Industry experience in Construction and Horticulture operation. Previously owned and operated. Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred. Excellent customer relationship skills and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Ability to work flexible hours. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving. Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. Current and valid driver's licence.
