As a Regional Manager, you will oversee a range of forestry management projects, ensuring high standards of service delivery while contributing to the financial success of the region.Key responsibilities include:Business development, budgeting, and financial managementLine management and mentorship of colleaguesLong-term forest planning and woodland creation initiativesOverseeing Forestry Grant Scheme applications and related workTimber harvesting, marketing, restocking, and maintenanceUtilising GIS for forestry and woodland mappingEnsuring compliance with forest and woodland certification standardsConducting tree safety surveys and BS 5837 assessmentsSupporting rewilding, carbon offsetting, and Woodland Carbon Code projectsAdditionally, you will play a crucial role in leadership, setting clear objectives, managing performance, and fostering an inclusive and dynamic work environment.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a driven individual with a strong background in forestry management and leadership.
You will have experience in developing and delivering forestry projects, managing budgets, and mentoring teams.
