The Development Associate will support renewable energy infrastructure projects, driving their development from initial phases to execution. As a Development Associate, you will play a key role in the development of renewable energy projects, supporting their delivery from early-stage feasibility to final execution. This role will allow you to gain exposure to all aspects of project development, including stakeholder engagement, financial structuring, risk management, and regulatory compliance. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure projects are developed efficiently and in line with company objectives. Key Responsibilities Support the development of renewable energy infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, market assessments, and environmental impact assessments. Assist with project financial modelling, including the preparation of cost estimates, funding strategies, and investment assessments. Participate in negotiations with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and third-party service providers. Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including bids, contracts, and compliance reports. Help identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Contribute to the management of project schedules and milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time. Conduct due diligence and risk assessments to ensure project feasibility and viability. Stay updated on renewable energy market trends, policies, and regulations to inform project development strategies. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that all regulatory and technical requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. Experience (3 years) in renewable energy infrastructure development, energy project management, or related sectors. Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including wind, solar, and battery storage systems. Familiarity with project finance, funding models, and regulatory frameworks in the renewable energy sector. Proficiency in financial modelling tools and project management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
