The Position: Reporting to the General Manager, Brand & Integrity, the Integrity & Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing AWEX’s integrity and compliance programs, ensuring robust audit management and risk oversight. This role will drive compliance innovation, including expanding verification processes to complement traditional on-farm audits, strengthening risk-based auditing frameworks, and leveraging digital solutions to enhance efficiency. This role is compliance-driven, requiring expertise in audit frameworks, regulatory requirements, and third-party verification. The successful candidate will thrive in an independent work environment, translating complex standards into auditable, risk-based compliance processes. Key areas of focus will include: Audit & Compliance Management - Oversight of third-party auditor and compliance processes. Innovative Verification & Compliance Systems - Supporting the evolution of AWEX’s integrity programs by integrating technology to expand verification coverage. Knowledge Development & Training - Supporting stakeholders, including auditors and industry participants, in implementing compliance frameworks effectively. The Person: We are seeking a detail-driven compliance professional with a strong ability to interpret and implement audit frameworks within a real-world industry setting. Essential Proven experience in audit management, regulatory compliance, or third-party certification programs. Strong background in ISO 9001, risk-based auditing, or compliance enforcement. Ability to translate certification requirements into practical, auditable processes. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in managing external auditors and compliance frameworks. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a knowledge-driven environment. Desirable Experience in agriculture, ideally within the wool industry or another regulated primary production sector with complex supply chains. Familiarity with digital compliance systems and audit technology.
