Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, including Regional Superior of the Congregation, the role will see you driving a Volunteer workforce; providing strong, inclusive leadership that strengthens and facilitates the Mission of Nazareth Care.What you will be doing:Developing strategies to attract a diverse group of volunteersDesigning/delivering orientation and training programsSupporting and promoting the Mission and Values of Nazareth CareCollaborating with local organisations, schools, agencies, Congregations and DiocesesEnsuring compliance with relevant Aged Care StandardsReporting on the effectiveness of volunteer programs, service performance, resident outcomes and incidents/hazardsImplementing group-wide Mission initiatives and eventsEmbedding Mission-aligned leadership practices; educating teams and caregivers, often on-site, throughout the organizationSupporting the continued growth/development of volunteer and pastoral servicesAbout You:Proven experience in Volunteer ManagementExperience in Community Service / Health / Aged Care sectorsAbility to integrate the Mission and Values of Nazareth Care into regulatory frameworks and training programsAn understanding of the roles of governance and complianceKnowledge of, or preparedness to learn about Catholic Social teaching and National Catholic Safeguarding StandardsAbility to build relationships between different organisations as well as ministries of the Church and/or CongregationStrong leadership skills with a focus on Mission-aligned leadershipWhat we can offer you:Not for Profit Salary Packaging - up to $18,550 tax freeContinuing professional developmentA family friendly organisation that values its employeesRewards Program, Retail Discounts and other benefitsA friendly and supportive team environment.Nazareth Care prides itself on fostering an inclusive culture that embraces diversity.
