Our clinics are modern, fast-paced, and focused on delivering high-quality care to our valued patients.Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and friendly casual receptionist to join our dynamic team who will work across our two locations in Toowoomba. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication and computer skills, a professional manner, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and smooth experience. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer phone calls and manage email correspondence in a professional and timely manner. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our booking system. Process payments, issue receipts, and manage Medicare and private health fund claims. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required. Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and preparing documents. Provide support to podiatrists and other team members with day-to-day operations. Ensure the reception area is tidy and stocked with brochures and forms. Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (healthcare experience preferred but not essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn practice management software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations, including occasional weekend shifts if required.
