Social: Recognition programs and social events to celebrate our team's achievements About The Role Reporting directly to the Outbound Team Leader, this role will allow you to multi-skill across all areas of the DC using the RF device.
Your previous background in a fast-paced DC/warehouse environment will be put to good use and you will have opportunity to grow and develop in this supportive, friendly environment.
Your duties will include: Accurately picking, consolidating, quality checking of orders.
Ensure the correct quantity of picks, packages and weights are recorded.
Despatch all orders in a safe manner for transport with relevant and correct documentation Complete all tasks within agreed timeframes and report exceptions immediately to the Warehouse Management team Ensure the warehouse is kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition daily Contribute to the safety of the workplace by reporting all Hazards and Incidents immediately Correctly and safely use relevant Manual Handling Equipment – MHE, Assisting the Inbound/Inventory Team as required, including Inventory management: Restocking pick faces, maintaining inventory levels and undertake cycle counts Carry out all warehouse duties as directed by the warehouse management team Follow and maintain TTI company policies and procedures Ability to work additional hours when required to meet deadlines What you will bring: Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office skills required.
Experience using SAP would be highly advantageous.
Previous experience of using RF handheld devices and working with a warehouse management system (WMS) are advantageous.
Team Player – maintain close working relationships with all other employees within the business.
Good communication skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
