Job Description Primarily supports the teaching and learning processes of students with additional / special needs under the direction and guidance of the Classroom Teacher to achieve the students' God given potential in a school environment. Special needs may include, among others: Anxiety, Depression, PTSD and Autism and/or a Mild Intellectual Delay.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Accurately document interventions and support provided to students throughout the day;Assist the Classroom Teacher in implementing adjustments documented in student's individual learning plans to achieve their goals;Assist with providing students with the opportunities to develop personal, social and independent learning skills;Assist with the creation of classroom resources and displays;Assist with supervision and documentation of Disability Adjustments/ Disability Provisions for NAPLAN and various exams;Maintain an orderly, tidy and organized classroom and other learning spaces;Initiate and participate in school-related extracurricular activities/duties.
