Haulmore Trailer Sales Pty Ltd is a privately owned Western Australian based company which has been involved in transport equipment hire and the design and manufacturing of on road and off road vehicles for more than 50 years.
We are looking for a keen person to improve their knowledge and work experience in our busy manufacturing and rental business. This is a full-time position with regular overtime worked every week.
Positions are available for energetic persons to perform a range of duties including:
* Semi trailer fabrication/welding to specification
* Effective communication and ability to understand verbal and written instructions
* Can interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Preparation of metals and materials required for task
* Use of appropriate tools for cutting and welding
* Heating, hammering and shaping metal as required
* Competent on MIG welding in all positions (GMAW and FCAW)
* Using various welding techniques
* Interpreting engineering drawings for measurements
* Finishing welds off with polishing, grinding, filing and cleaning
* Own transport and tools.
Qualifications:
* Relevant trade qualification;
* At least 2 years' proven experience in fabricating semi-trailers, dollies and side tippers;
* Experience in repair on low loader suspension and chassis an advantage;
* Outstanding work ethic with reliable and helpful attitude.
Annual base salary of $73,500 will be offered to the successful applicant.
Yearly performance bonus paid.
Applicants must be able to pass random drug and alcohol screening.
Base hours 8 per day plus regular overtime as required
