About Our School
St Mary’s Cathedral College is expanding into a K-12 co-educational, dual campus, College from 2025. As such, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher with a strong academic background to join our highly successful HSIE Faculty.
The Teacher of HSIE & Business Studies is a temporary, full-time position, commencing Term 1, 2025 until the end of Term 3, with the possibility of continuing until the end of 2025.
About the Role
As aTeacher of HSIE & Business Studies, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
The successful applicant will:
* demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and experience in teaching Stages 4-6
* show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* use of creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigour
* exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate these into a wide range of curriculum applications
* have excellent time management, organisational and administrative skills
* be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
* show an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.
You will have attained:
* a tertiary qualification in Education
* eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
