The team behind Destination Sport Experiences regularly participate in running and cycling events, as well as helping to manage events and support our clients on their journey through each event, so we understand the needs of those travelling with us.We are looking for an Operations Executive to provide administrative support to our Marathon Tours Australia & Sportive Breaks operations. This role involves effective collaboration with our sales and operations managers to successfully run & deliver our extensive portfolio of marathon and cycling trips each year. For DSE Australia, you will be the Operations specialist within the team. You will be supporting events by completing operational tasks, such as day-to-day partner & supplier communications, data entry, and internal admin tasks.This is a varied, hands-on role and on a typical day you will:Liaise with clients on daily operational related enquiries via phone & email.Collect, analyse and process client event related data and use this to assist in creating operational plans.Process client data within different event organisers platforms.Work with third party suppliers and operational staff to ensure they have the correct information to execute operational plans successfully.Provide timely & accurate reports on the status of event operations.Prepare event-related client literature and documentation.Assist the customer service team with both pre and post-sale enquiries and bespoke requests.Assist with processing and tracking third party invoices through to payment with our internal finance team.Assist with occasional contracting.Assist with both domestic and international on-the-ground operations – (occasional weekends).To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will:Have previous administrative and/or data processing experience.Have previous experience within the sport travel industry is highly desirable.Be passionate about our industry with the desire to learn.Be highly organised with great attention to detail & accuracy.Have the ability to work independently.Possess excellent communication skills both written & verbal.Have strong analytical & problem-solving skills.Have an excellent working understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office.Have project management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.So if you have a passion for sports, and are looking for your next challenge, take a look and get in touch we'd love to hear from you!Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherIndustriesEntertainment Providers
