To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders. About the role The Relocation Officer is a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Resilient Lands Program relocation concierge service by providing specialist advice and support throughout the relocation process, helping flood affected community members effectively relocate to flood safe lands. As the successful Relocation Officer, you will: Support the customer relocation journey and decision-making process for eligible community members. Work collaboratively with Resilient Lands Program team and external service providers. Provide advice and make appropriate referrals to assist clients with complex support and housing needs. Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and problem solving. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions. Support reporting and data analysis to inform policy and program improvements. About you High calibre candidates will have strong experience in: Dealing with a diverse cohort of customers with varying levels of vulnerability. Working across a broad range of policy and processes associated with relocation. Achieving buy-in and support of multiple stakeholders, balancing competing needs, interests and demands, in a high pressure and high-volume work environment.
