About the role
:
1. The small team of Radiographers, Sonographers and Administrative staff work to provide a high level of service to the community.
2. The Radiology Service is currently provided by offsite Private Radiologists, with one day per week onsite presence.
3. The Chief Radiographer provides a high level of clinical service. Historically this has been weighted toward ultrasound. A Chief radiographer without ultrasound skills will need to demonstrate how the current level of clinical service will be maintained.
4. The Chief Radiographer is supported by the Chief Radiographer GMHS and the HNEI Executive.
Requirements:
5. Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
6. Registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA).
7. Possess a current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
