Women and Children's Health Pathway Program - RN Women and Children's Health Pathway Program Northern Beaches Hospital is offering new and existing staff the opportunity to transition into Women and Children's Nursing through the 'Women and Children's Health Pathways Program'. This twelve (12) month program will see you rotate throughout various areas of the women and children's service including: Gynaecology/Maternity ward Paediatrics Special Care Nursery (Neonatal) You will be supported by expert Clinical Midwifery/Nurse Educators and Clinical Midwifery/Nurse specialists to ensure you meet all objectives within the program. You will be allocated protected teaching time, tasks/assessments, and competencies to complete for successful program completion. At the conclusion of the program, you will be supported to apply for the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery at Northern Beaches, or ongoing employment in Paediatrics or SCN, with future opportunities to complete a graduate certificate in one of these areas. Requirements of the Program: AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Must be Registered Nurse Year 2 or above Must work a minimum of 36 hours per week for the duration of the program (12 months) Must have completed a New Graduate Program (does not have to have been at NBH) Evidence of recent experience in an acute care setting, with preference given to Surgical Nursing A strong commitment to your own professional development and understanding of adult learning principles All Mandatory Training requirements must be up to date Post-graduate qualifications in nursing Demonstrated proficiency using Med chart/e MR If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, with a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79/hour.
