The Job : Reporting to the Social Media Manager, this role plays an important part in driving engagement with our social media channels. You will support the social media team and broader brand & content marketing team with the ideation and production of impactful social media content, social media publishing, boosting posts, as well as build and maintain community engagement in our Max and Three / ThreeNow social channels in Australia and New Zealand.
The Daily : Ideate, create and publish compelling social content across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram for our content across Max, Three & ThreeNow.Quickly get to the crux of a piece of content, find the right angle and translate it to an effective social format - identify and clip key moments, add captions and graphic treatments, make memes and Instagram stories, experiment and innovate.Know each show and schedule inside out and seize the very best opportunities for social engagement and to drive reach, ratings and click-through.Support the Social Media Manager and the Social Producer to execute social media campaign plans flawlessly.Consolidate footage to be shared with talent, creating a unified strategy beyond our pages.Amplify posts through tactical paid investment using Sprout and / or META Ads Manager.Keep a finger firmly on the pulse of pop culture and authentically connect our content and characters to what's happening in the wider world.Monitor our social communities, creating direct engagement with audience comments and queries, as well as monitoring our platforms for anything that breaches our community guidelines online.Flag any technical issues, content queries to the correct internal contacts and assist our audience with answers.Desired Skills & Experience : At least 1 year of experience within a social media marketing role working in media and entertainment.Thorough understanding of and experience with social platforms particularly Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. You are an internet native who has a pulse on digital trends / emerging platforms, and you have a deep familiarity with internet trends, lingo and the nuances of communicating online.Proficient with photo and video software editing tools including the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.Experience using social media publishing and reporting tools (Sprout) and project management tools (Asana). Able to manage multiple projects at a fast pace and high volume.Monitor industry trends and report on best practices.Impeccable communication skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills; dynamic personality, adaptable, a high degree of professionalism.Ability to thrive in an ever-changing digital environment, comfortable working well under pressure and has the flexibility to adapt quickly.A genuine, enthusiastic and passionate fan of entertainment, pop culture, new trends with excitement for WBD content and product.Championing Inclusion at WBD Warner Bros.
