Countrywide Asphalt & Civil is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the delivery and transportation of materials and equipment to support our construction projects. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the construction industry.
What you'll be doing Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles and trucks to transport materials, equipment and supplies to and from construction sitesConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working conditionMaintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage and vehicle maintenanceCommunicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely completion of tasksAdhere to all applicable safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself and othersWhat we're looking for A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licenseMinimum 2 years of experience operating large trucks and heavy vehicles in a construction or similar industryThorough understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to identify and report any issuesStrong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressureGood communication and customer service skillsCommitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of safe driving practicesWhat we offer Comprehensive training and development programsOpportunities for career advancement within the companyA positive, collaborative work environment with a focus on employee wellbeingAbout us Countrywide Asphalt & Civil is a leading construction company that has been serving the NSW, Victorian region for over 20 years.
