Buslines Group is the largest bus operator in regional NSW with 13 operations throughout the state and a fleet of more than 350 buses.
The fleet operates from a modern, clean and well-equipped maintenance facility across NSW.
The Role:
Buslines have 1st year apprenticeships for the trade of ‘Heavy Vehicle (Diesel) Mechanic’ at our Tamworth location. Apprentices will learn to support the service and repair of our fleet of buses in line with best practice to ensure we operate in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Collaborating with the Asset team, you will develop skills that align to achieving your qualification in your trade. Various start dates are available (immediate start and January 2025).
What you bring:
In addition to having an interest in heavy vehicles and buses, you will be self-motivated with enthusiasm to learn. You should be willing to work and learn in a team environment and possess the drive and commitment to complete your apprenticeship term. You will have some technical aptitude and be computer literate. Completion of a relevant pre-apprenticeship course or trade work experience is advantageous, but not essential.
