About The Opportunity
Programmed’s Property Services department is currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Brisbane team. This is an opportunity to be part of an excellent team that provides open space, grounds maintenance and development across our client’s site in Brisbane. Working across Griffith University campuses and other locations you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens. This position is perfect for someone with experience on 0-turn mowers.
Nature of position: Full-Time
Location: Brisbane
Reporting line: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
* Provide expert turf maintenance
* Routine brush cutting and blowing
* Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
* Weed & pest control – spraying and manual weeding
* Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
About You
To join our team, ideally you will have a horticulture or turf qualification, with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have
* Qualification or experience in horticulture or turf maintenance
* Current driver's license
* Current working with children’s check
* Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
* Execute work that is of a high standard
* A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
