This role is reporting to the General Manager of Asset Management.
The Senior Operations Engineer is responsible for managing the technical performance of operating assets.
Whilst focussing on improving returns through strategic operational and asset management and innovative strategies.You can be based in any of their offices across the east coast of Australia, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
There will be a small amount of travel, when required, to visit the different wind farm sites.Areas of responsibilityAssist the Operations team, ensuring all technical compliance, regulatory and contractual obligations are met.Collaborate in the negotiation of long term agreements and resolution of contractual disputes that stem from the operation of assets.Manage CAPEX and OPEX projects from feasibility to completion.Assist in the continued development of processes and procedures within the Operations team.Ensure all asset level key risk registers are regularly reviewed and maintained.Successful RequirementsBachelors Degree in either Electrical or MechanicalDemonstrated experience in the same or similar role5+ years of post graduate experienceA sound technical background in energy or engineeringHave a passion for renewable energyAdvantageous skills (but not essential)Operations or asset management experience in renewables or HV (transmission/Substations).Experience in optimising HV assets.Experienced in dealing with TNSP's and AEMO.How to ApplyPlease submit an up-to-date CV, showcasing your relevant experience.Thank you.
