The Role
This role is accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of corporate governance, company secretarial, governance and board obligations for a large number of clients.
* Participate and engage in Board and Committee Meetings
* Take the initiative to assist the business and its clients in complying with applicable laws, regulations, agreements, and company policies.
* Foster relationships with clients and serve as a trustworthy advisor.
* Timely and professionally manage and address client enquiries.
* Prioritize, implement, and coordinate operations to achieve highest performance and meet client expectations.
* Proactively identify, research, and provide relevant communication to ensure clients comply with ongoing legal and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure the delivery of the services at the utmost level of excellence by supervising the work carried out by members of the direct report team.
* Foster a strong customer-driven service culture within the team, which prioritizes the needs of clients.
* Identify and address issues undermining effective delivery of our services
About You
This is a crucial position for the organisation and the success of the person in this role is pivotal to ensuring the business meets their governance obligations. Competencies necessary to succeeding in the role include high EQ, good coordination and prioritisation skills and the ability to build rapport with executives, operational staff and customers.
You will have:
* 5 years of experience within a general company secretary filed
* Through exposure to ASIC & ASX compliance
* Understanding of the Corporations Act, ASIC regulations
* Governance Institute of Australia, Graduate Certificate
* Relevant tertiary qualification in a professional and related field
