The Role:
Infectious Diseases has 2 Fellow roles available in 2025
Role 1: 6 monthsFull Time, fixed term February 2025 – August 2025
Role 2: 6 months Part Time ( fixed term August 2025 – February 2026
You will be responsible for:
1. Being the first point of call for consultations requested across the RCH related to the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases and related issues
2. Being the first point of call for provision of the statewide telephone advice service for internal and external enquiries
3. Provision of clinical care in the outpatient setting in a supervised capacity
4. Participation in antimicrobial stewardship rounds and other AMS activities
5. Participation in out-of-hours on call service, under consultant supervision
6. Attendance at Gen Med and RCH educational activities
To be successful you will have:
7. MBBS or equivalent
8. AHPRA registration and eligibility for registration in Victoria
9. RACP (or equivalent) exams (clinical and written) completed

10. Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
11. Valid Working with Children Check
12. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain
13. Compliance with RCHs “Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure
14. All International Medical Graduate applicants will need to meet the AHPRA English Language requirements
