About the role:
Provide support to the Claims Team and Claims Performance Manager in regard to:
3. Complaints management
4. Completion of Quality Assurance audits
5. Technical Referrals
6. COP monitoring and reporting
7. Validation of COP breaches & reporting in IRIIS
8. Identification and facilitation of coaching/training opportunities
9. End of month reporting as delegated
10. Pro-actively identify process improvement opportunities
11. Payment approvals
12. Achieving strategic business goals

About You:
20. Diploma Financial Services (Insurance) - Desired
21. Tier 1 - Desired
22. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a general insurance claims function (mandatory)
23. Property claims experience (highly regarded)
24. Previous complaints handling experience (highly regarded)
Key Capabilities:
25. Thorough understanding of Insurance Code of Practice and compliance requirements
26. Thorough knowledge of TS business operations including strategic objectives
27. Thorough understanding of TS PDS’s and the ability to accurately apply it to any claims situation.
28. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the NURV operating system.
29. Advanced communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels
30. Ability to make quality decisions in a quick and timely manner and when exposed to pressurised situations.
31. Demonstrated organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to prioritise according to business needs.
32. Preparedness to use initiative and problem-solving skills.
33. Strong analytical skills
34. Must be a proficient user of PC’s and the MS Office suite of products – intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel would be an advantage.
35. Ability to lead by example, self-motivate, take responsibility and be accountable.
36. Task and goal oriented, with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
37. Ability to identify and evaluate individual knowledge and skill gaps.
38. Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
