In line with our sustained growth, we are continuing to seek the right person to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. As part of our close-knit team in the Clayton Branch, there is the potential to be considered for career growth within the branch.
We are seeking a career-driven individual with determination who is looking for advancement and experience with coordination of a warehouse.
Role Responsibilities Include:
o Manage all aspects of the warehouse's day-to-day operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
o Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
o Ensure accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
o Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety regulations and procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
o Continuously evaluate warehouse processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
o Implement quality control procedures to ensure that products are handled and stored properly to maintain their integrity.
o Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles, to ensure they are in good working condition.
o Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
o Maintain accurate records of inventory, transactions, and other warehouse-related documentation.
o Work closely with customer service teams to ensure timely order processing and resolution of any warehouse-related customer issues.
To be successful in this role you will need:
o Previous experience in a similar warehousing role
o Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
o Good computer literacy skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
o Safety focused and results driven
o A valid forklift license
o Ability to respond to continual changing of priorities
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills and rapport-building ability
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high attention to detail
