The Opportunity
As Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the Association of Children's Welfare Agencies (ACWA) through a pivotal transition period for the child and family sector of NSW. Reporting to the Board, you will drive ACWA's strategic vision, champion policy and advocacy initiatives, and foster strong partnerships with government, member organisations, sector leaders, and the wider community.
* Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction, ensuring ACWA remains a trusted and influential voice in the continuum of child welfare and family services.
* Advocate for policies and evidence-based initiatives that support children, young people, and families across NSW.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, member organisations, and key stakeholders to drive meaningful sector improvements.
* Oversee ACWA's operations, financial sustainability, and governance, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and impact.
