We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Contract Administrator (CA) to join our team.
Job Description
Deliver newbuilds, fitouts & refurbishments across commercial, education and government sectors.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the project team in preparing and executing procurement strategies for subcontractors.
* Negotiate and review subcontract tenders, including tender comparisons for review.
* Assess variations, negotiate progress claims, and agree final accounts.
* Prepare, check and review subcontractor packages, scopes of work, lettings and procurement schedules.
* Manage client and subcontractor claims processes in accordance with contracts.
* Understand and manage contractual risks associated with subcontractors.
* Coordinate and compile monthly reports.
* Collaborate with Project Managers on project cost reports.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator in the Construction Industry.
* Experience with Design & Construct fitout & refurb projects, ideally workplace fitout.
* Tertiary qualification, preferably in Building or Engineering or Trade.
* Aptitude to implement processes and procedures, promoting positive commercial outcomes and reducing commercial risks.
* Excellent negotiation, written and communication skills.
* Dynamic, passionate, and a team player.
* Prior experience with Procore or equivalent is advantageous.
