Provide high quality, timely and appropriate levels of security, fire protection and safety services to Kallangur Satellite Hospital.
* Provide high quality, timely and appropriate levels of security, fire protection and safety services to Kallangur Satellite Hospital as required to ensure the protection of persons, the protection of property, the prevention of crime, the preservation of the peace and the protection of information.
* Assist clinical staff in the management of problematic persons, security incidents and events, and fire and emergency incidents which may include liaison with Emergency Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
* Provide close personal protection to staff confronting aggressive and volatile situations in the provision of front-line health services.
* Provide staff escorts as required and when operationally sound to do so.
* Monitor and operate communication equipment and CCTV in a proper and ethical manner.
* Maintain and administer the issue, return and auditing of facility keys, swipe access cards and identification cards held or managed by Protective Services.
