About the Role As Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting HRI's research. You will provide administrative and diary support to HRI's Deputy Director and Director of Research, support HRI's scientific initiatives and provide wider administrative support to the HRI team when required.

This is a part-time position of 21 hours per week, onsite with some flexibility in hours possible.
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative and diary support to HRI's Deputy Director and Director of Research. This includes email triage, correspondence with stakeholders, and organizing meetings and travel bookings.Coordinate HRI's Seminar Series program and support other scientific initiatives.Edit and assist with scientific and administrative documents.Maintain HRI's organisational chart.Account keeping and credit card reconciliations.Assist with data entry and database maintenance.Assist in organising events such as conferences and seminars, including providing logistical and secretarial support.Provide administrative assistance/proofreading of ethics applications and grant submissions.Manage relationships with key partners, monitor deadlines and respond to enquiries from stakeholders within and outside the institute.Assist with publications-related administration, the development of web content, surveys and newsletters, contributing to poster and PowerPoint presentation material.Proven proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Endnote, and other related software.Experience with preparing diagrams and figures is desirable.Experience with web-based surveys is desirable.Provide administrative support for the wider HRI team as required.About You Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Relevant tertiary/vocational qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A team player who enjoys pitching in when required.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise.A can-do approach, with strong problem-solving skills.The ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in working with people at all levels.Experience managing an Executive's diary would be advantageous.Experience in health-related research administration would be advantageous.We offer: A friendly, flexible and productive team environment.Real work-life balance with some scope for working from home once a trial period has passed.A convenient location in the heart of Newtown.How to apply: Your application should include:
