Based at Mount Thorley, this role requires travel between SGS sites (including Mayfield) and client locations as needed.
Be part of a globally recognized organization and make an impact with your expertise.Reporting directly to the Training Services Manager, you will have the responsibility of developing, preparing, delivering, assessing, and evaluating effective training and assessments.Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Ensure that contractual and compliance requirements for the delivery of programs are met in accordance with the Standards for RTO's 2015.Plan and prepare training and assessment sessions to ensure required resources are available to support the delivery.Use and contribute to training and assessment strategies that are fair, valid, current, and sufficient.Deliver and coordinate training in accordance with the requirements of the training and assessment strategy using training methods that progressively instil knowledge and skills into learners.Conduct assessment in accordance with the principles of assessment and the designated assessment strategy.Contribute to continuous improvement.
This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and acting responsively to implement agreed improvements.Contribute to the development of training and assessment materials when required.Participate in assessment validation activities to promote fair and reliable assessment and to maintain the alignment of assessment activities and materials with industry expectations and training package requirements.Participate in internal and external audits and undertake follow-up actions as required.QualificationsMinimum TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)Minimum qualifications in courses approved to deliverA broad skill set such as Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, First Aid, MDG 25/TRG Hot Work etc.Extensive knowledge and experience in delivering VET programsDemonstrated understanding and experience of the Standards for RTO's 2015Other Requirements:Hold active ABN and InsurancesFlexibility in work daysCurrent driver's license and ability to travel to other SGS locations and client sites (overnight stays) as required using your own vehicleTransportation of training aids and equipment will be required to client sites and between SGS training facilitiesAdditional InformationWHY WORK FOR SGS?Working at SGS means joining an innovative, global company.
