Melbourne - Onsite/ Full time - Senior Associate
Our Tech Hub team enables our company's businesses to achieve their technology-driven goals. We deliver a range of areas from leading and supporting the company through to the build or adoption of new technology, to protecting against risk, and delivering valuable data insights that transform our technology capabilities, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results. And our team is expanding. We're looking for an IT Technician to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including but not limited to devices, audio visual, meeting rooms, printers, peripherals and workstations within our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in network protocols and hardware. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and software applications in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
Day to day, you'll solve problems by providing technical support to end users, ensuring that all raised issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.In our Tech Hub team, you'll also:
Comms & AV
Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Audio visual, communications & meeting room solutions.
Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Perform regular system updates, backups and health checks.
Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems.
Document technical issues and ensure the ITSM standards are followed.
Ensure processes of support are aligned to firm data standard policies
Critical Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with IT service management tools.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
A technical expert who uses your specialised skills to provide advice to others.
Ability to solve more complex task problems leveraging basic experience, analysis, specific guidance provided and judgement.
Ability to provide daily direction and supervision for more junior members of the team (if applicable).
Ability to plan priorities for the year and manage your own responsibilities and workload based on direction.
Ability to complete bigger tasks with direct contribution to large projects and/or lead small scale improvements.
The role will also involve
On-site support with face-to-face engagement with end users. Previous experience working with end-users in a support role is expected.
Microsoft Team rooms support, requiring Cisco VC technology and overall AV technical knowledge as well as strong troubleshooting methodologies.
Webcasting and broadcasting software ownership (incl. Studio delivery).
Studio space ownership, containing broadcasting equipment (cameras, microphones, lighting, tripods, computer software). You will have strong technical skills, filming and camera work, VMIX, audio desk skills and experience.
Production environment in live delivery format (incl. filming and sound).
Video and Podcast creation (incl. recording, sound and image editing, exporting and distribution).
Skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Working with stakeholders to understand requirements, work to design and plan event elements including storyline/storyboarding, resource management for the event delivery.
