About The Position
We have an opportunity for a Team Lead Electrical Engineer. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will have a vital part in supporting the team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance, expertise, and mentorship to the electrical engineering team.
* Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver high-quality electrical designs and solutions.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
* Lead the design and development of electrical systems including EIC equipment.
* Drive innovation by staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of all electrical designs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical insights and ensure successful project outcomes.
About you:
* Bachelor of Engineering.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the resources and related sectors.
* Exposure to PLC/SCADA systems and industrial/substations communications.
* Profound knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to the scope of work.
* Expertise in power and grounding principles, along with low voltage substation design.
* Familiarity with electrical systems/equipment installation and maintenance for mining plant operations.
* Client-focused with exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
* Proficiency in project engineering and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Eligibility to work in Australia.
