The position is responsible for the management and development Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs and Social Emotional Wellbeing Services across East Arnhem Region. Providing strategic direction, leadership, and advice in the delivery of innovative and responsive Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs and Social Emotional Wellbeing Services. East Arnhem Region has a predominately Aboriginal population of approximately 14,000 people spread across 11 remote communities and multiple homelands / outstations. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term. One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 3 years. Selection will be made at the SP2 or N7 level depending on the experience/qualifications of the successful applicant.
