The team at Penske Australia have a rare opportunity for a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join the experienced and dedicated team at our Darwin branch. In this role you will be mentored through the last of your apprenticeship while carrying out servicing work in their on-highway side of the business. This is a varied position that involves a high level of commitment to safety, customer service and ability to represent Penske as a technical specialist

About You: This is an outstanding opportunity to develop a dynamic and fulfilling career with a global leader. Have completed your 1st, or 2nd Year, and studying a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Have a mechanical aptitude and take pride in completing work to a high standard Have a passion for vehicles, engines or the automotive industry demonstrated through previous work experience and/or hobbies and interests. Have a strong desire to learn and develop a range of new skills associated with your chosen trade. Be motivated to achieve individual and team goals and objectives by actively contributing to the work on hand. Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety. Offer strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
