Gloria Jean’s coffee in Cairns is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to join our vibrant team and help us deliver exceptional coffee experiences to the community Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Managemen t – Lead, inspire and motivate a team of baristas and staff while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and development. Customer Experience – Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards and handling customer enquiries and complaints effectively. Operational Excellence – Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Sales and Marketing – Drive sales growth through effective promotional strategies and store events. Training and Development – Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to ensure the team meets Gloria Jean’s Coffee brand standards. Administrative Duties – Manage store budgets, rostering, stock control and scheduling to ensure efficient store operations. What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role within the retail or hospitality industry. Coffee shop is advantageous Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work fulltime hours (38hrs per week) flexibly across weekdays and weekends. What we offer Attractive base salary plus superannuation. $5,000.00 retention bonus (paid after 6 months). Monthly incentive program.
